Now Accepting Scholarship Applications for 2025-2026 Academic Year
Friends of CIT is a charitable organization founded and managed by the 2000 batch alumni of Coimbatore Institute of Technology. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide financial assistance to deserving CIT students and help them pursue a brighter future with confidence.
Since our inception in 2021, we have supported 99 students across four academic years, disbursing over ₹19 lakhs in scholarships. Our efforts have had a direct impact on 90%+ student retention and academic performance, while also achieving a 100% reduction in student loan burden for those we assist.
Through targeted scholarships and mentorship, Friends of CIT continues to stand as a support system for the next generation of engineers, ensuring that financial hardship is never a barrier to education or success.
